how to ban zmud sounds? |
I need to quit&reconnect my mud games very frequently, just a feature of the specific mud I am playing with.
The problem is, in that cases, the "beep" sounds of when disconnecting and connecting makes my very noisy. How can I to ban it? I try to tick off "Enable sounds" item of http://www.zuggsoft.com/modules/mx_kb/kb.php?page=3&mode=doc&k=181&highlight=sounds and even remove any directory of "connect sounds" and "disconnect sounds", it still doesnot work.
could anyone show me how to ban it please? |

I think it's actually a Windows Event sound, so you'll probably have to go into the Sounds panel and either mess around with specific sounds until you figure out which sound event it is or just turn off sound schemes altogether.

Matt is correct. If you have turned off the "Enable Sounds" item in the zMUD Sound preferences, then zMUD won't make *any* noise. So if you are still getting some sounds, then they are coming from somewhere other than zMUD.
