Question about loading up 6.16

I bought and originally downloaded version 6.16 in April 2003.

I have not upgraded since I personally am comfortable with this version.

However about a week ago, my hard drive died most unexpectedly, and I had no back up for this version.

I did find it in twocows but when I tried to load it onto my computer I received the following error message:

Cannot find ZMUD.DAT

Now I have seen the Zmud.dat in my zMUD.exe folder on my computer.

Can any of you help me out with this situation.....and no, I don't particularly care to upgrade to the latest version either.

I know this is an old thread, but I have the same problem.

I can get around it by dragging the zmud.dat into the zmud.exe, but that's not the cleanest way of solving this. Has anyone found a solution somewhere in the past year to this problem?

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: I'm using version 7.04

Actually, I've proven myself impatient.
The file zmud.dat is originally in the zmud.exe folder. You just have to copy it into the zmud folder (the folder that contains the zmud.exe folder).

Apologies for the spam.
