Newbie Question

Ok, for some reason, I can't delete rooms in the automapper. What am I doing wrong?

Make sure the mapper is in Map mode. The button looks like a pencil and some scratch marks.

Yeah it is. I've also tried clicking on Edit -> delete, but nothing seems to work.

If I select Zone -> Delete zone, it clears the board, but won't delete them any other way.

The auto-config doens't work very well either - it keeps picking up half of the long description of a room, and I can't tell it to *not* include the objects and people / mobs in the room.

What the hell. I restarted Cmud and now I can delete them?

I'm not sure what's going on, but it seems to have fixed itself.

Sometimes when you upgrade to a newer version things can go wonky. This has happened to me but manifested itself in other ways.

I bought Cmud straight off the website, I didn't upgrade at all.

I continued to use the mapping function again and after going through several iterations of autoconfig and manual config (none of them working properly) it actually full-on crashed on me. I'm done screwing with the automapper until it gets fixed.

One quick question, Are you using the mapper docked or undocked? Docking the map creates issues.

It's docked. If I undock it it will work better? I guess I'll try that... I just hope it doesn't crash again.

Try scanning through the thread I have linked below. I would pay particular attention to posts by Zugg.
