Until the other day, my mapper was working great...until I upgraded my Norton Utilities package to 2007 and added the drivers for the Microsoft Wireless Workstation. I'm guessing whatever the problem is, it's the drivers and not Norton since I had 2006. Anyhow, now the map works for approximately 5 seconds and then freezes. After it freezes, I can walk anywhere on the mud and then close and reopen the map and it knows exactly where I am. I don't know if this is some type of map regeneration error or what. Has anybody run into the same problem and is there a solution (sort of throwing out my keyboard and mouse)?
