How can i make trigger activate only if...
 
How can I make a trigger activate only if the the words that trigger it are a certain color? the mud i play, when you give gold to someone, it shows up gold, so i want it to be that
"Person gives you 1000 gold coins"
but only the color is gold or yellow.

goto the option tab of the trigger
check the 'line color' checkbox
select the proper color
save

oh yeah... you have to check the 'ANSI trigger' checkbox as well, my bad

Is the -whole- line yellow? If even one character isn't yellow then the first method won't work.

You can try UN checking the line colour box and checking the ANSI trigger box, and then copy paste a sample of what you want to match from the main window into the trigger box--it should come up with some weird symbols as well as the normal text, but this is what you want. You can then adjust it so that it matches all numbers (instead of just the one you pasted)... you may also want to log with ansi (in the preferences under General > Logging) and take a look at the line in the log to make sure you're getting all of the colour codes that you need.
