Mapper issues

Not sure if this has been mentioned. I'm trying to set up a map for a mud.

It seems to only notice when I enter a room occasionaly.

It doesn't seem to grab the room exits (they are part of the description).

It doesn't allow me to delete rooms when I'm in the Map mode. (It would be great if I just had to hit the delete button when the rooms are selected. It seems that I have to click on it then hit the delete from the menu - at least it did that at the start. Now it does nothing).

Am I doing something wrong.

i have the same problem. The mapper seems to work fine for me, besides the fact that i cant delete rooms that have an error in it.

Zugg is not focusing on fixing anything in the mapper at the moment as he i working more on the actuall Cmud itself. So we are going to have to wait for this to get fixed. perhaps in a couple of months it will be looked at.

Have you checked that the map is not "locked"? (The padlock icon on the left toolbar when you are in Map mode.) I can delete rooms by selecting one or more of them and right-clicking and clicking on Delete. The Delete key on the keyboard doesn't work - possibly focus is being sent to the main CMUD window instead of being captured by the mapper window - although creating a macro for the delete key doesn't make it execute when the mapper window has focus.

Upon running the game again I got exactly the same error with the padlock being unlocked.

I will await changes eagerly.

Sorry, but nothing is going to change with the mapper for a while. The current mapper was taken directly from zMUD and has not yet been fully integrated with CMUD. That won't happen for a couple of months still, sorry.
