CANT RUN ZMUD |
I've been trying to install the latest version of Zmud onto my laptop which has NEVER had ANY MUD client on it EVER it. also I have NEVER had any triggers or scripts loaded onto this machine i download the new version of Zmud and install it just fine click through all the menue options after agreeing to the license agreement and its closes down to the desktop i then click on the ZMUD icon and its begins to load as soon as i hit the screen that shows all the sample mud and what not i get the following error
Error: Access Violation at 0x7C90EDDC (tried to write to 0x7C90EDDC), program terminated.
then it asks me to > click ok> once i do Zmud closes i've posted this same thread a few months back and just gave up tryin gto fix it.
before you post search the forums for Access Violation i've done that i've gone through 98 pages of posts and NONE pertain to this particular access violation. i've tried similar errors in other posts to fix my problem with no luck. so if someone has a moment or two please to take a look and see what i can do to fix this i would be greatful.
I've recently installed MUSH and it works fine but i WANT MY ZMUD BACK DAMNIT!!!
Thanks Guys, |

sounds like a screwed up dll file somewhere. possibly you need to update your database files or some other update. also you didnt specify the o/s
This error tends to occur with winxp sp1 & 2
try to load in safe mode to make sure its not some random dll you have loading with extra apps etc.
I would check that or your config files. |
