Colors/stuff

Colors:

having some pretty annoying issues with colors, on ZMud they show fine, but when i use CMUD there is no difference between bright and dark colors.

When i connect to a session that ZMUD created, everything is BOLD.

I cant seem to get the changes to save to the session either, on ZMUD im sure there was the ability to "save" the changes, cant seem to find this on CMUD.

Command line:

This seems to carry over on all sessions, so stuff you say on one mud, shows in the command line on another. Making it so you can accidently say stuff on the wrong mud!.

Initially i thought that it was due to me using sessions already created in zmud but they appear to be the same in new sessions. ANY changes made will not save.

There's an error with saving fonts between sessions, you can 'hack' it out with a hex editor, but its probably easiest to wait for 1.02 when it should hopefully be fixed.

The trouble with the colours is you need to go prefs -> ansi colour -> attributes tab -> change 'Bold ESC [ 1 m' to 'Highlight Colour' -> foreground colours -> set colours to default.

Then you should be able to close the tab and fingers crossed, any new colours from then on will be the correct ones.

With the command line are you talking about prefs -> user interface -> command line tab -> auto-clear command line (tick it?). If not, then use help -> send feedback to submit a bug report with screenshot of the problem.

When i connect to a session that ZMUD created, everything is BOLD.

this is due to an option in ansi colors

If you go into your preferences and select ansi color you will see an option for ESC [1m (BOLD) change that to highlight or dim and bright and you will notice a difference and it fixes the bold problem. You may need to switch themes to force it to take hold but it will take hold. I had to do this for my mud to show up properly.
