Slowwalk help

I tend to group with people who either have a lot of lag or have a slow dial-up connection, and i'm wanting to modify my current walk alias to give it the ability for variable speeds.

I'm running 7.20, and I've tried the 'onroomenter' alias and that has failed miserably. I have found the step delay option and that works, but slows me down when i'm by myself. Is there a way to set that value inside my alias before #walk is executed?

Myself and others have been asking this question for over a year. The simple answer is, open the dialog box and manually change it.
There is no function that directly changes the value. Normally, the easiest command to use would be #MENU as described here:
http://forums.zuggsoft.com/modules/mx_kb/kb.php?page=3&mode=doc&k=332&highlight=%23menu
but it does not work on dialog box values.

As for how to write a loop that scripts through each room separately, that question has been extremely well covered already in these forums, but it is not for the faint of heart.
Start by making sure your mapper is setup correctly. If it is not, you'll have a really hard time creating map scripts:

Then move on to some heavier reading:
