How can I make a trigger that enables the Verbatim option without me having to go into the trigger and check it manually?

If you mean to enable Verbatim for a new trigger you're entering from the command line, then set the #TRIGGER options to {verbatim}.
Ex: #TR id {patern} {command} {class} {verbatim} |
