#ECHO and #SA

My question is regarding the #ECHO and #SA function. I have been playing The Two Towers for over 7 years, and I am using zMUD 4.62 still, and just decided to make certain echo'es when I reach certain areas, here is my problem:

[HP:230 EP:230] The north gate of Adornas(s and n)
Edoras, Bree | adohb, adohb2

I made a trigger for "Edoras, Bree | adohb, adohb2" to appear when I reach "The north gate of Adornas", however, I want Edoras, Bree | adohb, adohb2 to be on the -SAME- line as the rest.

#ECHO and #SA seem to write it on a new line, is there a way to have it echo the line on the same line? I've seen it before, but just don't know how to do it.

Thank you!

No, #SAYPROMPT will have the same problems as #ECHO and #SAY. What you need to do is use either #SUBSTITUTE or #PSUB. Both are in the helpfile and both are easy to figure out.

Because you are using version 4.62 still, I think you are going to have problems doing what you want to do. I am not sure it is supported in that version. I would most definitely reccommend upgrading to the current version; stability, speed, and features are all improved. Also since 4.62 is basically unsupported you really can't get much help from experts. Personally, I would believe that the help that is available in these forums is worth the purchase price of zMud alone. I could be wrong though, it has been known to happen.

Well, thanks everyone for your replies, I now have the new version of zMUD, but it's going to need some tweaking I can't seem to figure out, I might make another thread about my issues. Razz
