Multiple windows

This kind of pisses me off.

I currently have four windows open: tells, honey, main, and status.

My mud window looks like the following:

Now the problem is this: I've managed to keep the command lines in both the tells and honey windows. However, each time I start zMUD anew, the status bar shows up, and personally, I don't want the status bar there.

Not to mention that I have to set specific triggers for those windows, and when I do, they don't stay. I have to keep resetting them and resetting them.

I don't know if this is a bug or what, but anyone have any ideas?

have you done a save layout?
unlock layout
do what ya need to do, then lock layout and save layout.
Might wanna make sure that in your setting file you don't have something #stat called Status. It's one of those things that looks like a cars speed indicator. Mine was blank before i added stuff.

You have to save settings for each window with a filename that matches that window. For example set up your
"tells" window how you want. Then with that window having focus select, from the menu, Settings|Save. When
prompted for a name use "tells". This will make a settings file for "tells" that is automatically loaded whenver a
window of that name is created, if placed in the zMud directory; if you play multiple muds and need distinct setups
for each one place the "tells.mud" in that muds directory.
