trouble with a macro (or is it an alias?) |
whenever i send "e" or "east" ZMUD then sends "open east" - i remember that a while ago another user (obviously more savvy at zmud than me) guided me thru the process of setting this up, because of a certain area (of the MUD) we were playing in - but i can't remember what i did - i read the help file about creating macros and such and i couldn't find any command that would cause it (east = open east and e = open east). any insight?
love,

Couple of possibilities
Do you have the automapper on? This could be a possible reason why you are getting the
extra open command. If it's set to follow position on map it may well be thinking its
somwhere where it isn't and trying to open doors for you that obviously not there.
If you do have automapper on, test this by clicking the turn off mapper and see if
you still get the extra open commands.
Do you get it each time you go east? If so it's more likely an alias created somewhere.
Have you used the search facility in zmud to hunt the offending alias down?
Does your mud have its on alias facility? |
