Zmud Mapper question |
I was wondering if there is an option on Zmud's mapper to get the mapper to make a .jpg or .gif output of the map? because copy / pasting it into MSPaint of Photoshop takes quite a long time. :)
Any help would be lovely and appreciated. Thankee. |

Well... I know this won't be too much help, but a way to solve this could be taking a picture of the screen, control+printscreen usually, and then paste it into a picture like Paint.
OR, I believe if you got the ZMapper it might be fruitful to you too! :)
Good luck! |

Yeah, thats what I've been doing with the ctrl+printscreen.
However, does zMapper allow you to export as different file types?! Thanks |

I have just tried zMapper and it says out of resources before the map can convert :(
Basically - I am running a AMD Athlon Xp 3000+, 512mb Ddr ram and a 128mb video card with Winxp sp2.
alas, the map is over 2500 rooms big (but its all one road and I had no idea how big it would be.) and suggestions on what I can do? |

You should post a bug report in the bug tracking system about it giving that "out of resources" message during the .gif export. Make sure you include all the details you did here. Zugg may be able to improve the memory handling for that, but as I recall it was a 3rd party component that actually handle the .gif conversion. zMapper however is not likely to be updated for a while, there just weren't enough people purchasing it for Zugg to devote huge amounts of time...hint, hint buy a copy. Until then your stuck with the printscreen method.

Well, its a great program. But if it doesnt handle .gif conversion there wouldnt be much point buying a copy. so its a vicious circle in the end :(
But still, its a WHOLE lotta ctrl+printing...but ah well... |
