Is there any way to make the status bar bigger and/or make the background color black?

I'm not sure about making the status bar bigger, and as far as *black* for the background, seems to fall through to the grey, but you can set a different color background (other than white/black) by setting the colour using %ansi(), check the help for values to put in between parenthesis

A black background can be achieved with MXP tags.
#ST {<color white black>Status Bar</color>}
I don't think you can make the status bar bigger, but you can use a status window if you need more room. |

Most scripts in this forum are written for Command Line entry.
Don't even open the Settings Editor unless its use is specified or obvious. |

You can right click on the status bar and select <Customize Status Bar...>, then when the settings editor opens up, browse to whatever class folder you have it in or select <All Classes> in tool bar, then edit to your hearts content.
