Changing the IP address for a mud

How is this done? When I try to edit a character, there is a place for the host, (but putting the ip there doesnt work), and the place where the IP is is blacked out...

You can enter the IP in place of the hostname, if necessary, or at least I can. However, the preferred method is to enter the hostname so that it isn't necessary to modify the address if the MUD moves. To change the IP address, after entering the correct hostname, click the Lookup button. The only time you should need to enter an IP instead of a hostname is when Lookup doesn't return the correct value.
