SImple ( I hope) path questions

Hi there

I'm kinda new to zmud and am having some trouble understanding the paths feature.

I have understood the theory on how to create paths but thus far I cant get them to work, they head off in a wrong directions shortly after starting.

1. Diagonals (NE SE NW SW) how are these represented? In help files and previous posts I have not seen them mentioned and to my mind they cant be represented by NE etc because that comes across to zmud as north then east, right?

2. Why do I see letters such as ljh in recorded paths, do they stand for something else?

Would someone mind showing me here what the following path (a random one)syntax should look like please:

N NE E E NW N N NE NW

By the way I am using version 7.05 of zmud

Your help is appreciated!

Thanks

I don't know why your paths would head off in the wrong direction, so I can't help you with that. Perhaps someone else will have some ideas. However, I can answer your two questions (they have the same answer).

Diagonals are represented by h, j, k, and l.
h = nw
j = ne
k = sw
l = se

The correct path for N NE E E NW N N NE NW
