Corrupt Layout

I haven't MUDed or used zMUD in about a year, but I was feeling a little nostalgic and decided to try out my old MUD again. So I downloaded the newest public zMUD and installed my old settings, etc etc etc. I use two windows and the Status window in my layout, so I set it all up, hit Save Layout and Lock Layout, played a while, and quit out. I went to log back in today, and it said the layout file was corrupt. I remember this problem from years ago, so I went in and deleted the Settings.lay file, and reloaded it. Now it's giving me an error trying to load it. So I fix that problem, and go log in, set up my windows how I want em again, and so on. Buuut, I can't get the layout to STAY how I want it. I log out and log back in, and my Status window is missing or in the wrong place, I fix it, set em all back up, and then I go to relog, and it's all broken again. Is there any way to make the Save Layout actually WORK? I'm not going after Zugg folks, I understand how hard it has to be. I own 9 zMUD keys (3 actual acct thingies), I've been a long-time supporter. Just hoping to get this working so I don't have to fix my windows every time I want to play.

I had difficulty getting the layout to overwrite correctly, too. Solution was easy: set the windows, then Lock Layout, then Save Layout. Works like a champ.

Just attempted that, thank you for your reply, but still no cigar. Still gave me a corrupt layout error msg, then Error Loading Layout or something to that effect.

Anything else I can try? Is anyone else having this trouble?
