Mapping Questions....

Ok, I know this might be in the wrong forum, but hey, if it is it can be moved.

When I map a sites rooms, Achaea (Yes the dreaded Achaea Maps), it seems that some of the Doors leading Up or Down, are in fact on the same level as some other doors. For instance. Think of a giant square, 8 hexes the one in the center not there. In the TOP RIGHT your exits are Up, and south. Then in the one to the south of that its south south, so on and so forth until you come to the box to the LEFT of it. The exit to get to the (East) box is Down, not east. How can I map this out in the mapper program??

X--Xv^X
|.........| Do you get this? The 'v' is Down, and the '^' is up.
|.........| Any suggestions???

That seems like a very small mud but anyway...

if you start top right and
>u
mudspamhere
>d
mudspamhere

You should now be top right again, correct?

Now, either move the current room or the one above it. On the automapper's menu bar, select edit|move.

For the top right room, raise the Z value box by one(1) and increase the X value box by two(2).

For the top middoe room, lower the Z value box by one(-1) and decrease the X value by two(-2).

Hope that helps.

Edit: I can't type.

I figured it out. Right click the exit, wheather the up or down arrows, then choose properties. Now select change destination and enter the room number. Worked like a charm.
