Database option lists

I cannat add more then 31 options in an option list and am needing around 50, is there any way around this limit? I know I can add the information as text and just parse the text for the information I need whenever I need to access it, and I do not wish to use more then one listing. I have almost 100 items in the database already and really do not want to convert it if I do not have to. If there is no possible way I guess i could script it to convert the database to a new format (IE: text and parsing) but if there is any way around this limit I would like to know.

Split it into two option lists, with 25 options each?
