zmud 6.16 mapper |
I havent been mudding for a looong time, but now i a m again.
And i really want to use the zmud automapper.
The problem is i cant get it to work right.
And this is the problem The room description changes, night dat sunny rain whatever.
I really need to know how to set this up, this is when i travel and when i look:
-------------------
Look:
A Road Within the Valley [Road][Cloudless]
A wide paved road winds its way through the valley here. The passage of
time has done little to diminish the condition of this well constructed
road. It seems to have been made to last forever. The soft moss covered road
is shaded just enough to make your journey pleasant.
[Exits: north south west ]

Travel:

You walk north.
An Evergreen Forest [Forest][Dusk\Cloudless]

The problem is the room desc changes:
A Road Within the Valley [Road][Cloudless]
An Evergreen Forest [Forest][Dusk\Cloudless]
An Evergreen Forest [Forest][Night\Cloudless]
A Road Within the Valley [Road][Night\Cloudless]
Plz help me set up the mapper, the auto config doesnt pick it up correctly because of changing desc i think |

You will have to #TAG that part of the room name.
#TAG your prompt then reconfigure the mapper.
See help #TAG
Quote: |
When tagging a line, the mapper will normally use the entire line for the value of the tag. For example, if you tag a line as a Name, the entire line will be used as the room name. You can override this by specifying the room name as the optional parameter of the tag command. Each line-type can take a parameter. Parameters should be given in the same order that the line-kind values are given. Normally, these parameters are not evaluated or expanded since they represent literal text from the MUD. However, if an argument is a single variable reference, then the variable will be expanded.
Note that after setting up triggers using the TAG command, you should then Reconfigure the mapper so that it sets itself up properly.
