ZMud is causing my computer to reboot |
Ever since February 3rd, or so, ZMud, from 4.62 to 6.something has begun causing rather serious problems with my computer. Everytime that I attempted to run one of them, my computer would reboot before the program could even be loaded. Once the computer was rebooted, I was unable to load anything at all, and had to boot my machine in safe mode and remove Zmud to get the computer to start properly.
I'm hoping that there's some sort of an explanation for this, as I really enjoyed using Zmud, and would like to go back to using it some time. |

You mention using early versions of zmud, you should try the newest public release which is version 7.04 and is alot more stable than the releases you have tried. 7.04 can be found here: http://www.zuggsoft.com/zmud/down.asp#zMUD

I just attempted to run 7.04, and had the exact same problems. This time, though, I got a blue screen error (I'm running Windows XP, by the way) that said something about alcxwdm.sys.
