Mapper problem.

Sometimes if I speedwalk or walk manually using the numpad in follow mode the mapper asks if I want to "Update 39 rooms". No matter what I answer of Yes, No and Cancel it keeps asking me this as I move around. It started happening yesterday and is getting real annoying!
I don't think I changed anything which caused it, it just started.
How do I get rid of these annoying pop ups?
