Problem Zmud 7.01

Odd zmud 7.01 error when I try to run??
Access violation at address 004C40FF in module 'ZMUD.EXE'. Read of address FFFFFFFF
Windows ME , When I try to hit the connect button.
Im the second person I know to get this identical error
Any ideas? |

This is a generic error. When it happens when connecting to the MUD loading your settings it means your settings file is corrupted.
Unless you are playing Simutronic games like DragonRealms or Gemstone in which case it is a bug in the autologin system if you have it set to "Always use this character". This bug is already fixed in 7.02.
If you are not playing a Simutronics game, then follow the instructions given in the Migration Guide in the Support Library to clean up your settings file. |
