Using Zchat in Zmud window

I'm sure you've all heard this a million times, but i just can't get Zchat to port everything over to the Zmud window. I just downloaded the newest version of zmud (not the beta) and Zchat, got all registered and stuff and was all ready to play but zchat wouldn't work in the zmud window. I finally figured out that I had to go to the Plugins menu and there was a little Zchat checkbox which i checked and it worked fine. The problem was I ran a funky script that messed up a whole bunch of stuff, so i just reinstalled Zmud, but now when i go to the Plugins menu, there's just a dotted transparent rectangular box where the Zchat checkbox should be. The only thing available is the Close, Install, Remove buttons. The Remove button gives me a "List index out of bounds {%d}" error, and the install button gives me a browers, that's looking for a .exe or .dll , I'm not sure what to choose, but the zchat.exe doesn't work; it says it's a not valid plugin. I already tried support@zuggsoft, they must be busy cuz its been awhile. Any ideas anyone?

Select the Add button and locate the ZCHATAPI.DLL file. That is the plug file.
