Settings Not Installing

I have version 6.62 and whenever I click on my MUD connection there's no settings that automatically load. I end up everytime clicking on Settings, Load, and then picking the MUD file I want to load before I can even play the game. Is there a reason why this isn't loading automatically like it used to? I never should've installed the newest Beta version because it corrupted all of my settings files. I ended up having to delete everything and start all over with 6.62 again. I have a valid setting now, it just won't load. Please help.

right click on the icon for you mud select properties click the files tab then Uncheck the use layout save and see if that works

While you are on the Files tab, make sure that Subfolder and Primary point to the correct subdirectory and filename for your settings file.
