Connection Problem |
Everytime I try to connect to Achaea using zMUD, it seems to want to enter a 2 and a 1 before anything loads which makes it impossible for me to connect. Anyone know how to fix this problem?

looks like when you first logged into Achaea using zMUD you selected yes to auto-login window so it thinks 2 and 1 are your name and password.
You should be able fix this by selecting "Edit" insted of "Connect" for the character. Then under the Character tab fill in the correct information, or turn off Automatically use this name and password. |

Actually, you probably have the right name and password. However, during your initial logins you naturally chose 2 (Create a new character) and 1 (Enter game). zMUD has no way of knowing whether these are one-time responses or something it should send every time, so it asked about them in the Login wizard in the Inital Text field. When you clicked Yes without changing that, you told zMUD to send those before the name.
zMUD created an atconnect alias to send these. It's in the System folder. You'll actually see TWO atconnect aliases, one in blue and one in black. The one in black should be the one you're looking for, if it is its Value field will contain the text:
2;1
Delete it. Don't delete the other one.
CORRECTION: Change it from 2;1 to just 1
You don't want to Create a New Character (2), but you do want to Enter Game (1). |
