MCCP Causing slowness?

Using Beta (and rolled back versions) of zmud with MCCP on, multiple line outputs cause HUGE slowdown.
MCCP Off, everything scrolls beautifully.
Telnet session with MCCP on, everything scrolls fine.

Help?

When using MCCP, zMUD needs to decompress the incoming text. This means that zMUD must receive the entire MCCP packet, then uncompress it before it can display text. If your MUD is sending huge MCCP packets, then that might cause jerky scrolling. Not much I can do about that...it just seems to be how MCCP works, unless someone has a suggestion on how it should be handled differently.
