Problem/workaround with bends in map links

Hi,

I just upgraded from v6.15 to v6.62 of zMUD. Conversions, etc. appear to have gone smoothly with a few very minor exceptions. (Wow! NICE job on the seamless upgrade!)

I'm posting on this issue, as it took me a bit to figure it out (okay, call me stupid) and maybe it will help others.

Problem:
The problem I'm seeing has to do with an inability to select bends in a particular newly-created map link. Other links work just fine... the one thing that is different with this link is that it links two rooms in the same zone, but on different levels.

First of all, the only way I seem to be able to select the link at all is by left-clicking the link at one of the connected rooms. Trying to click the link somewhere in the middle has no effect. Once I've selected the link, I can Add Bend okay, and it puts a new "bend box" right next to the connected room. I can left-click and drag that box to a new location. Now I want to select the newly-created bend again, and move it to a new location, but I can't. I can select the entire link, and see the bend box, but when I try to left- or right- click on the bend box, the whole link (and box) just goes from red to black again. Doesn't seem to matter which level I'm viewing either, same behavior either way.

Easy Workaround:
All I had to do is temporarily move one of the rooms to the same map level as the other. Then I was able to play with the link bends at will, and when I had them where I wanted them I moved the room back to it's original level.

Hope that's useful to someone,
Spot
