Transferring Triggers/Aliases/etc

Hello everyone,

I have a question about how you would go about transferring triggers between characters.

For example:

I have been playing Garrison the Paladin.
I've setup tons of triggers and aliases..many of which will be useful for other characters.

I setup a new character (icon, autolog, etc) called Panzer the Fighter.
I go to the "Triggers" and they're all empty.

How do I transfer Garrison's triggers over to Panzer?

Thanks very much for your help!

The easiest way would be to go into My computer and find your Zmud installation folder and then locate your character folder and copy out your .mud file from one character folder to the other, then go into your new character and use the filter to find any character specific settings, like the characters name or something and change them to match your new character. Keep in mind that if your want NEW settings you add to be in both files you will have to add them that way, the other way to do it is go to Settings Load with your new character open and just browse to your old .mud file and they can both use the same file, however this could cause a problem with character specific triggers and such, It just depends on what exactly you have.

Since you've already got your Autolog setup, you probably shouldn't copy another .mud file. That will overwrite your existing one. Instead, use Import Settings from the Settings menu.
