Exporting a zone to share with other mudders

I'd love to be able to take some of my zone maps, and save them out into files that I could share with others on my mud who use Zmud.

I can't figure out any good way to do this, however; any action I take under the File menu (e.g. save as) seems to operate on my entire map, not just a given zone. My entire map is too big to distribute the way I'd like to. I've even tried making a copy of my map, and deleting lots of zones from it, but the resulting mdb file seems to stay the same size or even get larger. I suppose like any good database it's not really deleting the rooms, it's just marking them as inactive.

Any suggestions? I do have Zmapper, so if there's some way to use that, it's a possibility for me.

Look at "Charbal's ZoneCopy Utility" in the Finished Scripts forum.

This utility allows you to copys one or more zones from one map to another. You could use a map file as a container for a group of zones to share with others on your mud.

Good luck.

Looked up the zone-copyer, but the link was dead, would there be another way to do this?
