Need help |
I've found that using a map with zmud really puts pressure on the performance of my computer. In general just looking at the map its slow to view from side to side. And when using speedwalks often zmud may lockup for a minute until the speedwalk is executed but most times it takes about 15 seconds until the speedwalk process starts...is there anyway to fix this? i'd really like to start moving straight away when i hit on a location to goto. Any suggestions?
Also when on slow walk option it will walk one room then say "Speedwalk aborted" or something like that...Im using Zmud 6.40 and latest Zmapper
anyway PC stats are:
AMD ATHLON XP200+ 1.7GHz
256MB RAM
Windows XP
Thanks guys your help would be much appreciated |

odd, I'm running it with a map with over 10,000 rooms on a P3 1000ghz 256 memory. with applications running in the background and I'm not seeing any lag.

Ahh, I did not pay attention to the fact that your running version 6.40.
Zugg has made LOTS of speed fixes and improvements in the recent beta version 6.63. Since this is a beta, I do not suggest using it yet, but keep a look out for the next public release. I think you will be very happy with its improvement. |

Is ver 6.63 available for download yet?
I found a description of it in the version history but I can't find the link to download it.
Thanks! |
