zMUD fails to load

Some time ago zMUD stopped loading for me. I double click it, a little hourglass cursor shows up, and then nothing. Nothing even shows up in the task manager. I've tried reinstalling, redownloading, everything. I have no idea what I might have done to cause this. Has anyone encountered this before?

Yes ,but I had a very nasty little virus.
try uninstall then reinstall NEW version enter license number and see what happens.
If your not using WINXP, load all the MDAC files you need.

This sounds very much like a common problem. That is disabling the LicCtrl service. If your running NT/2K/XP then you have the abliltiy to do this. If you did then you know how to fix it. I am still lobbying for a description to get attached to the service so people do not innocently disable it. This of course is to my own benefit as at least one post a month asks this question.
