zMUD mapper problems

Hi,

I have just downloaded the 30-day trial of the latest zMUD, and went to try the Automapper function.
After successfully configuring the Mapper, I put it into "Map creation mode", minimised the window, and as the help file says, began simply walking around my mud.

No rooms are being added to the mapper screen though, I am wondering why this is?

Any ideas?

I play The Two Towers, I don't believe things there are too out of the ordinary...

Thanks and regards,

Langor

I am not familiar with that mud, a room sample or three would help diagnose the problem.

This is basically it (I use abbreviated view, as opposed to a full room description):
A dark room(s and n)
HP:230 EP:230> n
Inner Halls(e, s and n)
HP:230 EP:230> n
Inner Halls(s, w and n)
HP:230 EP:230> w
Inner Halls(e and w)
HP:230 EP:230> w
Grand Entryhall(e, out and s)
A Statue
A Rohirrim door guard stands here
Andune, guardian of the sunset
HP:230 EP:230>

Thanks in advance,

Langor

Minor tweaks to the configuration made by the wizard seem to help.

Check "Match Room Name at Start of line"
Check "Exit line contains key"
Put "(" in "Exit line keyword"

Langor! Guild buddy :)

I think the problem you had was that when you ran configuration you have to un-tick room description if your using the brief command. I have mine working fine (4000 rooms mapped so far, phew!)

I must be doing something fundamentally wrong here.
I have made the suggested ammendments, Vijilante - still nothing - the mapper only creates one room (the one that is created with the wizard) and nothing else.

Switch,

I have tried that as well - still nothing, I'm stumped.

Langor.

P.S. I've even uninstalled and reinstalled zMUD, though I knew it probably wouldn't do anything, which it didn't.
