Mapper |
I am trying to get used to using the mapper that comes with zmud (running out of graphical paper :( ). It seems to work good, but I got a question.
After i am done mapping an area of the mud, I switch to the following option, but it doesn't seem to follow me around the map. Am i doing something wrong ?
Thanks in advance.

It's probably not configured properly. Read through the help file in the "Intro to mapping" section of "Getting started." If you still can't get it to work, the name of the MUD you're in and some sample output would help us help you.

well I did reed those before ;)
but I ran reconfiguration for the mapper and this time selected room description as well. And now it seems to follow me around the map.
Thanks a lot.

well here we go again.
It worked for a little while.
Now it doesn't want to map period.
I even reinstalled zmud, reconfigured the mapper, but it doesn't want to map at all. it does put something on the map every other room, when I am in the creation mode, but exits don't match up and stuff.
After I did reinstalled it, it mapped for a little while, I even mapped couple of small size areas( created 3-4 zones). But out of the blue it decided not work any more :(
Any ideas ? |

You're not configured properly...and you probably need to write your own #TAG triggers for the info. Other than that, you can try messing around with the Map preferences to see if you can tweak things enough to get them to work.
If you want more specific help, put up some actual mud output or at least the name/location of the mud so those more knowledgeable than you can work things out directly on their end. |
