Need help configering Automapper

Hi, I'm haveing trouble configering the automapper - The main problem is that it will only follow in map mode (it wont follow in follow mode) Also, its putting doors and one way passages where there shouldnt be. The mud I'm playing is Materia Magica.
Any help would be appreciated.

Example of a room (Note; I added . in the frist 3 lines to make it display correctly):

A Quiet Classroom.......................................-........-.........-
(-------------------------------------------------).....- <---(M)---> -
................................................................-.........S........-

As you look around the room you see some benches arranged in front of a
lecturn and a black board. On the board is written the topic of the days
discussion, "Exits and Directions". In the upper right corner of your
screen you will notice a small compass that shows the same exits. You may
go in any direction by typing the name of that direction. For example: up,
down, north, south, east, west, northeast and so forth. Type "south" now to
proceed to the next classroom.
A large black cat is sitting here, looking at you with interest.
