Colored text from Mud |
I recently bought a new computer and am using Windows XP now. I transferred my zmud software and everything seems to be working properly except one thing. Any text that is colored in yellow is not showing up. I realize this is probably a problem that i need to fix in my windows setup but havent figured it out yet. Anyone else experience this same problem?

Can you highlight the 'invisible' text or is it completely gone? If it isn't even in the output window I think it could be two things. The first one would be a gag trigger of some kind gagging the text (you could try to inactivate it by disabling trigger processing with "Settings->Enable Triggers"). Another possible thing that could cause it would be password gagging. If the text to be displayed contains the password for your mud character it'll gag it.
If the text is just coloured wrongly like black which I think you should see if you try to select it you can check "view->preferences->colours->Foreground mapper" to verify that everything there is correct.
Also always mention which version of zMUD you are using . I think one of the current beta versions has had some modifications in how it handles output displayed so it could also be a bug. I hope you'll solve the problem.
