Mapper feature missing? |
I remember long ago, when Zugg was mentioning features that were going to be in the new mapper, he mentioned hexagon graphs .. did this feature ever make it?

Take a look at the zMapper Tutorials. This is already possible using zMapper.

unfortunatly, i'm w/o zmapper .. so the zmud mapper can not do this? I can't seem to apply those same directions with it.

The zMUD mapper can handle this though it won't be able to create it from scratch. You'll just need to either get someone to run through the tutorial to set it up for you and then give you the map template to build on or modify the .MDB file manually with Access or something.

With zMapper installed, zMUD can display anything that you can display with zMapper. However, if zMapper is not installed, zMUD will not display any of the enhancements, even if they are in the database file.
Rather than bloating zMUD with all of the graphical mapper enhancements that people were asking for, I chose to create zMapper as a plugin to handle these enhancements. So, if you want stuff like hexagonal maps, you MUST purchase zMapper. zMUD will never handle these kinds of enhancements itself.
