I tried deleting and remaking the trigger in a different folder etc.

Restart? I have restarted numerous time. never have seen the ticker. I even put commands in to turn it on and off. |

It isn't necessary to import ASCII scripts, they can simply be pasted to the command line in whatever size blocks you want. Pasting one setting at a time might help you narrow down your problems.
