So, the issue was at the very end of the script I was using sync=0 to set sync to 0 to prevent spamming, I changed this to #var sync 0 and the error goes away.

Actually I noticed this too, when I upgraded to 2.25 my command line seems to lag while I'm typing, my commands sent seem to be delayed by a half second or even a full second. Disabling my settings do ... |
