I turn on literally *every* msp option -- enable protocol, echo triggers, inline msp, enable downloading, show progress, and play after download. I even filled in the default url path.

Reinstalling CMUD fixed the GAUGE problem -- must have been a corrupted install. :/ Can't try the sounds at the moment.
