That worked, Zugg. Thank you. I had to put double quotes around the color modified values e.g. "<color red>Down</color>". This may be because the selections were used in an %if function.

I will see this happen each time I am in Aetolia ard am making frequent updates using the Editor. The only way I've found to cure the problem is to reboot CMUD.

I discovered a pattern on the stray down exits (XXX = Description; yyy = Exit sentence)
