Darker, agreed, the default in the browser *should* be binary, however, from the dialogue I am pretty sure it isn't so there should be an option to set the transfer type upon ftp initialization.

I don't know what to tell you, I really don't think Zmud was meant for such tasks. More of a user to mudd emulation package.

Instead of using "on" for your variable state try using 0 and 1.

I believe that in the preferences you can uncheck auto word wrap under preferences, general, word wrap. This will stop zmud from word wrapping.
Then you can check your mudd to see if they have a ... |
