I set the 2 vars to literal as you said, but every time i ran the script, they reset to auto,
I was able to get it working by using:

Good enough... i was using the other way cause the simple "#WIN name" would steal focus in zMud :P
This is the way i expected it to work in zMud all along :P

%char(10) is newline, %char(13) is carraige return... nonetheless...

I have a lot of chat capture windows docked at the top in a tabbed style setup... |All|Gossip|Info|Freind...
Normally the "All" window is in front... in zmud i had a simple alias so i could switch ... |

it should, no syntax errors in 7.2.1 but I have been known to use things that just work even if it ain't totally proper :P
Might have to add some double quotes to #IF clauses here and there though. ... |

all brackets & braces {curly brackets} are accounted for... if you #EXEC the statement it creates a flwless trigger, if it were missing a brace/bracket it would not create the trigger correctly.

I pasted your original code into a test alias, 1st thing is hit CTRL-M to format it, it makes it much easier to read... then i changed the %if to a #IF...
