erm.. had a similar problem happen long ago, and it wasn't the .mud file, it was a zMUD.ini file or one similiar.. just had to delete it, and start zMUD.

Oh yeah, the crack for 6.15/16 was actually a proxy for eLicense control and used the eLicense protocols.
