On DuneMUD, there are times when you are attacked and can't talk or send a message that you are being attacked. zChat provides a nice workaround from within zmud, without the need to switch to AIM/ICQ ...

Maybe I didn't explain myself well. I don't want to #CAP the text to a different window. I want to make a variable that will contain the colored text.

Example:

How do I capture "text" with the color?

Ultimately, I want to put it in the status window.
